Challenges for HR Management in the Industrial Revolution 4.0

In the context of booming in knowledge economy and the Industrial Revolution 4.0, Human Resources industry is facing enormous challenges on a global scale.

Understanding this situation, on August 3rd, 2017, PACE Institute of Management and SHRM Vietnam to hold a seminar on International Human Resource Management with the participation of many HR top executives.

The purpose of this seminar is sharing the current thorny issues in the human resources in Vietnam and finding new directions in the roadmap to internationalize the human resource management capabilities of HR professionals in Vietnam

The main speaker of the seminar is Mr. Dinh Viet Lan – Senior HR specialist in the field of Human Resources as well as the Chief of Representative Office of PACE in Hanoi. He was one of the first Vietnamese experts who received the SHRM certificate. At the same time, he was also trained by SHRM Global to become an official trainer of the Global Human Resource Management Capability Program. At the very beginning, Mr. Lan clearly shared the global trends that directly influenced HR field through an overview of Dave Ulrich about 2 key points: Process & Human.

 

The Expert also mentioned some main difficult problems of HR system in different organizations such as: globalization pressures, diversification as well as structure and culture of organization.
 

The participants shared the problems they encountered in their HR management career. Mr Lan also provides a comprehensive perspective with predictions of future HR trends as well as issues the global HR industry may face.
 

With deep insights from the top two HR professionals, the guests were satisfied about how their issues and questions are answered very clearly and detailed.

Especially, at the end of the seminar, Mr. Vu Duc Tri The, Training Development Director at PACE, also discussed some effective perspectives and methods to improve management in the current HR industry. Furthermore, he also mentioned the role of SHRM globally as well as its support, training and capacity building programs in Vietnam.
